In an article for York Region’s online newspaper on June 3rd, following the release of Metrolinx’s transportation investment strategy, IMFG Director Enid Slack commented that there are many benefits to investing in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area’s transit network, but that “if we don’t pay for it we’re not going to get it.” She also noted that the revenue tools recommended by the regional transit agency would not likely have a profound impact on people’s lives or the economy.
