IMFG has an opening for an Administrator. Under the supervision of the IMFG Director and the IMFG Manager of Programs and Research, the Administrator performs a wide and dynamic range of duties for IMFG and is responsible for the smooth running of the Institute’s administrative operations.

This month’s issue of eFocus Municipal Assessment & Taxation, (subscribers only) a subscription-based taxation report, made mention of IMFG Paper No. 29 Financing the Golden Age: Municipal Finance in Toronto, 1950 to 1975, by noted Toronto historian Richard White.

IMFG Director Dr. Enid Slack gave a presentation entitled Municipal Finance 101: The Dollars and Sense of Local Taxes and Spending at the Oakville Public Library on January 8.
